The next CS:GO [Counter-Strike: Global Offensive] Major Championship will be held in London.
Leading competitive gaming platform FACEIT will host the UK's first ever CS:GO major at London's SSE Arena, Wembley in September.
The UK-based esports events company announced the news on Twitter after successfully bidding to bring the popular competition to London.
With 24 teams battling out for a prize pool of $1m [£720,000], it is expected to be one of the biggest esport event ever held in the UK.
London-based Fnatic, defending champions Cloud9 and runners-up FaZe Clan are amongst teams that hold Legend spots in the upcoming tournament.
The previous Major, held in Boston, drew in 1.13m concurrent viewers and broke the record for the most concurrent viewers of an English-language eSport event.
"The community has been at the heart of everything we do at FACEIT, and we're so grateful for the support of the players on our platform and those who've attended and watched ECS," Michele Attisani, chief business officer and co-founder of FACEIT said.
"We're excited to create an amazing celebration of CS:GO to honour that commitment.
"We look forward to seeing everyone there in September."
Ten thousand spectators will be welcomed to the Finals with tickets to the event going on sale on April 2nd.
