Fernando Alonso confronts Johnny Herbert about his comments suggesting the Spaniard should retire

According to Herbert, Alonso is in decline and should consider quitting the sport

But the McLaren driver, who will miss this weekend's Bahrain GP due to injury, appeared to be in no mood to quit F1 when he greeted Herbert in the paddock ahead of Practice Three.

It's understood that McLaren have made a fresh appeal to race authorities to allow the Spaniard to drive this weekend but to no avail.
