F1's new chairman and CEO Chase Carey discusses his plans for the sport and the changes that have been made

In an exclusive Sky Sports interview, Chase Carey outlines his vision for the future of Formula 1 and discusses Bernie Ecclestone's legacy.

Carey, along with Ross Brawn and Sean Bratches, head up the sport's new management structure after Liberty Media completed their $6billion takeover.

And on his first day as Bernie Ecclestone's successor, Carey spoke to Sky Sports News HQ's Craig Slater and addressed a range of topics and potential concerns.

As well as talking about the impact Brawn can have on his return and the difficulties Ecclestone will have in coping with his new role, F1's new CEO claims that he has spoken to all the teams about the plan moving forward.

Carey believes that they are all "on board for change", indicating that the sport needs to create a "spirit of partnership" in decision-making going forward.

The 62 year-old also says he wants to make races "bigger, broader, more exciting, more successful", putting "21 Super Bowls" on the calendar.
