F1 2018: Get the alerts you want from the Sky Sports mobile app

The 2018 Formula 1 season is developing into a thriller, and you can make sure you don't miss any of the latest big stories from the paddock by signing up for push notifications on the Sky Sports mobile app.

Update to the latest version of the Sky Sports app and you can filter Sky Sports' notifications to suit your needs.

Here's all you need to know on how to do it…

Q: Formula 1 is the only sport I am interested in and the only sport I want to receive notifications for. How do I subscribe?

A: Head to the notifications section of the Sky Sports app. To get there, click on 'More' in the bottom right corner of the home screen and then select notifications under the 'My Account' section. Then simply tap on 'Formula One' and we will send you a notification whenever a big story in the paddock breaks.

Q: I'm an F1 fan, but I'm keen to know when a big story breaks. I want to get all the latest Formula 1 news, but I also want to know who won the World Cup final or the result of a big Box Office event, for example. Is this possible?

A: It is! If you're keen on getting dedicated news alerts from the world of F1 but want to know when a big sports story breaks, make sure you tap on Formula 1 along with 'Breaking News'. This way, you'll be notified of a big story without having to subscribe to another sport.
