Brendon Hartley and Lance Stroll collide at Canadian GP

Brendon Hartley and Lance Stroll were involved in a big crash on the opening lap of the Canadian Grand Prix.

Stroll, starting 16th, had made a great start to get past the two McLarens and Hartley, who had been jumped by Charles Leclerc's Sauber.

But going through Turn Five, Stroll's Williams suffered from oversteer and squeezed Hartley's Toro Rosso up against the wall and sent the Kiwi airborne and both of them out of the race.

It capped a miserable weekend for Stroll at his home race, with Williams having suffered their fifth double Q1 exit of the season in Qualifying.

The crash also means Hartley, whose Toro Rosso future has been subject of speculation in recent weeks, remains on only one point and 18th in the Drivers' Championship.
