The final GP2 race of the season started in dramatic fashion as Pierre Gasly caused a multi-car pile up in Abu Dhabi.

The final GP2 race of 2015 was abandoned after a multi-car pile-up on the opening lap in Abu Dhabi.

Pierre Gasly spun his DAMS car on the exit of the first turn, collecting the Arden of Norman Nato, with Carlin's Sean Gelael, Trident's Daniel de Jong, MP Motorsport's Nicholas Latifi and Russian Time's Artem Markelov all then hit and fired into the wall.

After 40 minutes of barrier repairs, the race was abandoned to avoid delaying the season-ending F1 race which followed at the Yas Marina Circuit.
