Max Verstappen takes to the ski slopes in a Red Bull F1 car – watch in full

Some F1 drivers take to the slopes for a spot of skiing and to relax over the winter, but Max Verstappen saw it as an opportunity for further practice.

F1's youngest ever driver took to the legendary Streif ski course in Kitzbuhel in Austria at the wheel of the 2011 title winning Red Bull RB7.

The car had to airlifted by helicopter to the starting point and sported specially made studded Pirelli tyres.

"It was really cool and was so much fun. Keeping the car on the track was a real challenge," said Verstappen.

"I enjoyed it a lot - quite special to go up and down all the time and then you have this amazing view. The car is moving around a lot but it is nice, you are playing a bit with the car."
