Colchester have signed defender Karleigh Osborne on loan from League One rivals Bristol City until the end of the season.
The 26-year-old is expected to go straight into Colchester's squad for Saturday's League One game at Doncaster. Osborne has made a total of 32 appearances for City since arriving from Millwall, initially on loan, in 2013. His deal was made permanent in January 2014, but he has featured on only three occasions for the first team this season. He began his career at Brentford, where he made over 150 appearances, and had loan spells at Oxford and Eastbourne before moving on to Millwall.
