Young Latics pen pro deals

Teenagers Luke Simpson and Danny Gosset have signed professional contracts at Oldham.

Goalkeeper Simpson and midfielder Gosset, both 18, join fellow youngsters Chris Sutherland and Joe Cooper in signing their first pro deals. Simpson has yet to make a competitive appearance for the Latics, although he has played in first-team friendlies. Gosset had a whirlwind end to the 2012/13 campaign. Shortly after returning from a fractured kneecap he found himself in the first team, making his debut in the penultimate match of the season at Shrewsbury and then starting the final game at Leyton Orient.
