Shane Warne is in the Shot Centre and gets a lesson from Rich Beem

Shane Warne had the chance to showcase his golfing talents when he was given a swing lesson from major champion Rich Beem in the Shot Centre.

Warne is an avid golfer and is regular seen appearing in Pro-Am tournaments, including on Wednesday when the nine-handicapper featured in the BMW PGA Championship's curtain raiser.

After using a golf ball to demonstrate his legendary bowling technique to "The American", Warne was then given the opportunity to have his golf swing assessed by the 2002 PGA champion.

Beem was quick to share his advice on set-up and hand positioning, trying to help Warne improve his accuracy and length off the tee.

With a few minor adjustments the Australian was able to notice almost instant results in his swing, although he was left embarrassed by one misjudged effort.
