WATCH: US Open leader Dustin Johnson hits a fan!

US Open leader Dustin Johnson has played some terrific golf at Oakmont but a snap-hook early in his third round caught a watching fan unaware.

Johnson took to the second tee with a two-shot lead and some almost perfect driving so far this week, but in the words of Butch Harmon - "That may be the worst drive he has hit all week."

Johnson somehow managed to hit a spectator on the head, thankfully the fan wasn't injured while the ball trundled on into a concession tent.

Johnson ended up so far wide that he actually had a reasonable lie and ended up somehow saving par.
