With the clock ticking down quickly ahead of the 145th Open at Royal Troon, we asked a number of the world's leading players to describe their favourite memories of watching golf's oldest major.
The Open is steeped in history and indelible memories, but what - or who - gave today's leading generation of players the inspiration and determination to hold aloft the famous Claret Jug?
Rickie Fowler was honoured to be photographed on the Swilcan Bridge alongside Sir Nick Faldo at St Andrews last year as the three-time champion, who will be part of the Sky Sports commentary team at Royal Troon, bid farewell to the championship.
