Shane Lowry eager to rediscover his form ahead of The Open

Shane Lowry intends to "get back to basics" when he tees off in The Open at Royal Troon on Thursday.
The 29-year-old Irishman went close to winning the US Open at Oakmont last month when he finished in a tie for second place behind Dustin Johnson after leading after the third round, but he has struggled to find his form since then.
The world No 26 missed the cut at this week's Scottish Open, but at least that gave him some additional time to familiarise himself with the layout at Royal Troon this weekend.
Speaking to Sky Sports News HQ at the Ayrshire links course, Lowry said: "Expectations have been a little high since Oakmont, but the last couple of weeks haven't really gone to plan, so I just need to get back to basics and try and go out and enjoy my golf.
"I would love to win The Open. It would be unbelievable to stand on that 18th green on Sunday being announced as the Champion Golfer of the Year.
"I've watched it for years - I love watching it - and it's just great to be able to play in it. When you get to see the crowds here and just the buzz around the place, it is great."
