Europe has five rookies in their Ryder Cup automatic qualifiers this year and one of those is Chris Wood, who has been speaking to Sky Sports about the privilege of earning a place in Darren Clarke's team.
The Englishman secured qualification through the European Points List along with Rory McIlroy, Masters champion Danny Willett and Open winner Henrik Stenson.
Wood and Willett are featuring in the prestigious tournament for the first time along with Rafa Cabrera Bello, Andy Sullivan and Matthew Fitzpatrick, who finished fifth at the Czech Masters to seal his place.
The Ryder Cup comes from Hazeltine in Minnesota this year and you can watch the tournament in its entirety on Sky Sports from September 30 to October 2.
Sky Sports reporter Jamie Weir caught up with Wood after the European line-up was confirmed on Sunday.
