Watch Matt Kuchar ace his tee shot at the par-three 17th during the third round of the WGC-HSBC Champions.

Matt Kuchar produced a moment of magic to make a move up the leaderboard during the third round of the WGC-HSBC Champions in Shanghai.

The Olympic bronze medalist posted a four-under 68 at Sheshan International to get inside the top-10 and stay in touch with midway leader Hideki Matsuyama, with the highlight of his round coming at the penultimate hole.

Having fired three birdies on his way a front-nine 33, Kuchar dropped shots at two of his next three holes before adding a gain at the par-four 13th to get to two under for the day.

A run of pars came to an end at the 193-yard 17th, where Kuchar fired his tee shot tight towards the flag. The world No 19 saw his ball find the dancefloor and pitch just a couple of feet short of the pin, before taking a couple of hops in to the cup for a hole-in-one.
