Niall Horan teamed up with Justin Rose to appear at the Genesis Open Pro-Am

Niall Horan took time out from working on his new album to join forces with Justin Rose at the Genesis Open Pro-Am on Wednesday.

A week on from playing alongside Justin Timberlake at the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am, Rose teamed up with the One Direction star for the traditional pre-tournament event in California.

Horan's love for golf is well-documented and the 23-year-old is often seen at golf tournaments, including the 2015 Masters Pro-Am as a caddie for Rory McIlroy and as a player in last year's BMW PGA Championship Pro-Am at Wentworth.

Ahead of their round, Rose's coach Sean Foley joined the pair on the range to offer Horan some advice to fine-tune his game.

Sky Sports' Wayne Riley caught up with him to discuss the state of his game and to find out how he juggles music and golf, with Horan jokingly linking his bad performances to when Radar is around!
