Paul Casey secured his third top-10 finish in a row at the Masters but is determined to become a major champion in the future.

The 39-year-old started the final round at one over par, seven shots behind joint leaders Sergio Garcia and Justin Rose and produced a fine 68 to seal a top 10 finish.

And although Casey was unable to make a challenge this year, he is determined to get his hands on a famous Green Jacket one day.

He told Sky Sports: "I didn't do a lot wrong - I pulled a slightly awkward line on 13, which I couldn't keep much spin on the golf ball and ended up at the back of the green. I struggled from there even though I hit some really good putts.

"I misjudged the wind on 14 and from there I felt like the tournament is kind of done - it's gone away from me.

"It's great to be out there and it's a joy to be part of the Masters and a joy to be up there again.

"I love this, I think my game suits it. I desperately want to win a major and I feel the game is there or thereabouts.

"Sometimes you need a little bit of luck, but you need to create your luck. I love working at it, I love this game so we will see, maybe one day."

Lee Westwood, playing in his 75th major, finished outside the top 12 for the second time in the last eight years with a score of one over par while 22-year-old Yorkshireman Matt Fitzpatrick finished four over par.
