The European Tour gave one lucky young golf fan a birthday he will never forget at the BMW PGA Championship

Remember what you were given for your ninth birthday? Well the European Tour gave one lucky young golf fan a day he will never forget.

When the dad of nine-year-old Aaron got in touch with the European Tour to ask if there was anything they could do to help celebrate the golf-mad youngster, they pulled out all the stops to give him an unbelievable experience.

Aaron's favourite golfer, Andrew "Beef" Johnston, acted as the surprise taxi driver to deliver him to the BMW PGA Championship at Wentworth and picked up a few special guests along the way.

The pair had a "BEEEEF" shouting competition before giving a lift to Open champion Henrik Stenson and Olympic gold medallist Justin Rose, who both brought their silverware with them for the day.

Martin Kaymer then completed Aaron's dream fourball and challenged the star-struck fan to a putting contest on the West Course's 18th green, with a big smile glued to the youngster's face throughout his special day.
