Georgia Hall and Inci Mehmet give their thoughts on the standards of the sport in England.

Solheim Cup hopeful Georgia Hall believes the state of women's golf in England is in great shape.

Hall sits fourth on the Ladies European Tour's Order of Merit and top of the Solheim Cup points list, after two top-five finishes in the early part of the year.

The 21-year-old is well-placed to make her debut in Annika Sorenstam's side this summer in Iowa, where a record-equaling number of English players could represent Europe.

A closer look at what is coming up during women's golf month

"It's getting bigger and bigger," Hall told Sportswomen about women's English golf. "There could be five English players playing in the Solheim Cup, which I don't think has happened much before - so it's definitely on a high.

"I'm playing well and had a consistent season last year, so hopefully this time around will be the same."
