Martin Kaymer, Ross Fisher added to Hero Challenge at Close House

Martin Kaymer and Ross Fisher are the latest players to join the field for the Hero Challenge ahead of the British Masters supported by Sky Sports.

Eight European Tour players will go head-to-head over a specially constructed par-three floodlit hole at Close House, with seven quick-fire head-to-head matches.

Major champion Kaymer and five-time European Tour winner Fisher will play alongside Matt Fitzpatrick, Bernd Wiesberger, Danny Willett and tournament host Lee Westwood.

Two more players will be added to the field in the coming week, with the event televised live on Sky Sports Golf on Tuesday, September 26 from 7.30pm.

"I've heard a lot about the Hero Challenge and it seems like a really fun way to start off British Masters week," Kaymer said. "It's exciting to take on something completely different."
