Spectators are expected to stay alert for stray balls when watching out on the golf course, although that turned out to be costly for one fan during the Tour Championship.
A group of patrons were gathered just wide of the eighth fairway during the opening round at East Lake, where they got closer to the action than they expected when Jhonattan Vegas arrived at the tee.
The Venezuelan had completed his first seven holes in regulation but missed the fairway with his next effort at the par-four, with one fan getting caught out by the stray swing.
One fan, sitting in a foldable chair, leant back in shock as Vegas' shot bounced over him and into the rough, with his sudden movement resulting in him making a comical tumble.
