Rickie Fowler one off the lead as storms disrupt OHL Classic

Rickie Fowler was just one stroke off the lead when play was suspended due to darkness on day two of the OHL Classic at Mayakoba.
Play was earlier delayed for two hours and 15 minutes shortly after the later starters, including Fowler, had begun their second rounds, and 57 players were still on the course when the klaxons sounded to bring the players in for the day.
Fowler, who opened with a confident 65 in his first start of the new PGA Tour season, cruised to the turn in 33 and picked up further shots at the 10th and 13th before carding his first bogey of the tournament at the next after finding water off the tee.
The world No 10 just had time to par the 15th before heading to the clubhouse on 10 under par, leaving him in a share of second with overnight leader Patton Kizzire and one adrift of Patrick Rodgers.
Kizzire could not match the heights of his stunning, opening 62 and was two over for his second round when he double-bogeyed the first - his 10th - although he hit back with three straight birdies from the third before parring in to return a 70.
But both Fowler and Kizzire trail Rodgers, who stormed to 11 under with four consecutive birdies and will also have three holes to complete when play resumes on Saturday morning.
Kizzire's late rally snatched the clubhouse lead from Brian Gay (65) and Brandon Harkins (68), while Martin Piller raced to eight under after he birdied his first four holes of the day.
Piller still has half of his round remaining, but Scotland's Russell Knox is safely in the clubhouse and nicely placed for the weekend after he posted a second straight 68 with five birdies and just two blemishes.
Graeme McDowell, who edged out Knox in a play-off to win the title in 2015, bogeyed his final hole to card a 70 which lifted him to three under - two strokes inside the projected cut mark.
Ryder Cup star Patrick Reed is also eight off the lead with four holes to play, while two-time major champion Zach Johnson is one further behind following a pair of 70s.
