Jon Rahm holed a monster 60-foot putt for eagle at the final hole of the Farmers Insurance Open

Rahm edged ahead of a congested leaderboard with a birdie at the 17th, before sealing a maiden PGA Tour title in dramatic fashion at the par-five last.

The Spaniard fired a monster drive up the fairway and hammered a five-wood over the water hazard at Torrey Pines on to the green, where he drained a multiple-breaking eagle putt from 60 feet to secure victory.

Relive how Sergio Garcia beat Justin Rose in a play-off at Augusta

Garcia overturned a two-shot deficit on the back nine to take a final-round tussle with Justin Rose to extra holes at Augusta, where he secured a first major title at the 74th time of asking.

Rose pushed his drive in the play-off in to the trees and couldn't find the green in two on his way to a bogey, as Garcia found the putting surface in two and held a 12-foot putt for victory.

Alex Noren struck a magnificent five-iron to five feet at the last to set up a tournament-winning eagle

The Swede began the day seven strokes off the pace but surged up the leaderboard by birdieing four of his first seven holes and posting four gains in a five-hole stretch along the back nine.

Holding a share of the lead as he made his way to the par-five last, Noren struck a stunning five-iron to five feet with his second shot and holed the eagle putt to close a course-record 62 and set a clubhouse target that couldn't be matched.

Jordan Spieth holed a spectacular bunker escape at the first extra hole against Daniel Berger

Spieth faced a play-off against Daniel Berger after the pair finished tied on 12 under after 72 holes, where he cannoned his tee shot against a tree and then found the bunker with his second.

With Berger on the fringe in two and 50 feet from the flag, Spieth then splashed out of the sand superbly to hole-out for an unlikely birdie and secure his 10th PGA Tour title.

Paul Dunne, British Masters

Paul Dunne chipped in for a thrilling birdie on the final hole at Close House

Dunne produced the round of his life to fire a nine-under 61 and claim a maiden European Tour title, holding off the challenge of Rory McIlroy at Close House.

A front-nine 30 was followed by birdies at the 11th, 13th and 17th to give Dunne a two-shot lead on his way to the last, where he pushed his tee shot right of the green.

Left with a tricky-looking chip from the thick grass next to the bunker, Dunne then produced the perfect pitch to hole-out for birdie and seal his victory in style.
