Shane Lowry and his caddie show Sky Sports how they are taking on the famous 17th hole in practice at TPC Sawgrass

Shane Lowry gives us a special behind-the-scenes look at how to play the 17th at Sawgrass ahead of this year’s Players Championship, live on Sky Sports.

The famous 17th at Sawgrass - a 137-yard par three - is one of the most iconic holes in golf and here Lowry and his caddie Dermot Byrne take it on in practice.

Asked if he would take four pars on the 17th for the entire tournament, Lowry told Sky Sports News: "Absolutely, every time! I think there aren't many players - in fact, I'd go as far as to say there's probably no one in the field that wouldn't take four pars!"
