Phil Mickelson has withdrawn from the US Open at Erin Hills

Phil Mickelson pulled out of the US Open to attend his daughter's graduation, but what would you have done in the same scenario?

Earlier this month, the 46-year-old said he would attend the high-school graduation of his daughter Amanda in California, but remained hopeful of still playing the second major of the year.

Mickelson was given a late tee time by the USGA and had a private plane arranged to try and make the cross-country trip to Erin Hills, although required a weather delay to have any chance of playing.

Warm and dry weather in Wisconsin meant no chance of any stoppages, leaving Mickelson with no option but to withdraw from the event.
