The European Tour returns to Wentworth this week for the BMW PGA Championship, live on Sky Sports

The European Tour's Rolex Series kicks off this week at the BMW PGA Championship, with extended coverage, live on Sky Sports.

Rory McIlroy headlines a star-studded field at Wentworth, where European No 1 Tommy Fleetwood, Ryder Cup legend Ian Poulter and defending champion Alex Noren also feature.

More than 30 hours of live golf from across the four days from Wentworth will be shown live on Sky Sports Golf, while Sky Sports News will bring you regular highlights, interviews and reaction.

Live coverage begins with an On the Range show on Wednesday afternoon at 3pm, featuring action from the celebrity-filled Pro-Am as well as a special masterclass from Paul Casey.

Fourteen of the world's top 50 are in action this week, with eight hours of live coverage from each of the first two tournament days and the action getting underway from 11.30am over the weekend.

There will also be news, interviews, highlights and leaderboard scores throughout the week on the SkySports.com website and mobile apps, while a dedicated blog will offer live text commentary.
