98th PGA Championship: Andrew Johnston has stroke of luck on the fourth
Last Updated: 28/07/16 8:06pm
Andrew 'Beef' Johnston enjoyed a touch of good fortune in his opening round at Baltusrol in the PGA Championship.
The popular Englishman already looked in trouble after his tee shot at the fourth fell short of the green, and when the ball skipped left on the first bounce, it looked destined for the water.
However, Beef's luck was in as it somehow spun back in the opposite direction off the water's stone perimeter and landed safely on the edge of the green.
Johnston made the most of his lucky break and managed to save par and completed his front nine in a one over par 35 after a birdie on the ninth.
