Chris Eubank Jr says Spike O'Sullivan will regret his pre-fight insults when they meet in the ring

Chris Eubank Jr has vowed to punish Spike O'Sullivan for his pre-fight insults when they step into the ring at The O2.
The 26-year-old middleweight was angered by a steady stream of offensive comments which O'Sullivan made about him on social media and revealed the background to their row when they came face-to-face on 'The Gloves Are Off.'
Eubank Jr and O'Sullivan can finally settle their feud this Saturday at The O2, live on Sky Sports Box Office, and the Brighton fighter plans to inflict a painful defeat on his bitter rival.
"I've trained like an animal, like a barbarian, and this guy is going to feel the full force of my training on December 12," Eubank Jr told Sky Sports News HQ.
He's used social media, Twitter, Facebook - to put it lightly - to be extremely disrespectful towards me to try and get underneath my skin.
"For me boxing isn't a personal thing, it's a business, it's a sport, it's something that I do because I love the sport. For him, he's used social media, Twitter, Facebook - to put it lightly - to be extremely disrespectful towards me to try and get underneath my skin.
"Over the last three years, he's been doing this, so that's why it's a grudge match, that's why I'm putting so much training and effort into this one - because this guy needs to be punished for what he said.
"When somebody is disrespecting you continuously, targeting your friends, your family, your fans, it give you that little bit extra push in the ring, in the gyms, on the roads to work that little bit extra, because you know you're going to get in there and teach him a lesson."
Despite endless comparisons with his father, Eubank Jr insists he is his "own man" and hopes to be winning over any doubters.
Victory over O'Sullivan could earn him a shot at WBA champion Daniel Jacobs, who defended his title with a first-round stoppage of Peter Quillin at the weekend.
"I think they are coming around," said Eubank Jr. "They are slowly starting to see that I'm here and that I'm the real deal. I'm not a pretender, I'm not a cardboard cut-out of my father.
"I'm my own man and I'm doing things for the British public and I'm trying to make it to the top."
