Team Derby start the defence of their National Badminton League title against Surrey Smashers as part of the 2015/16 fixtures.

The NBL returns for a second season this November and a number of fixtures will be shown live on Sky Sports, with six teams competing in a series of six Monday evening match-nights running through to March 21.

Surrey, last season’s table toppers, have been handed an opening fixture against MK Badminton at Surrey Sports Park on November 2.

Match-night one also serves up an immediate return to action for 2014/15 runners-up Loughborough Sport as they take on the University of Nottingham.

Team Derby will have to wait until match-night two to get their campaign underway as they host the Smashers on November 30, while Birmingham Lions start the season against the University of Nottingham on the same evening.
