Leo Gregory says he's sick of Geoff Bell talking about his Premier League All Stars performance!
Leo Gregory told Soccer AM he's sick of Geoff Bell talking about his Premier League All Stars performance! The actors popped into the studio on Saturday morning for a chat about their new film, Daylight Robbery, and of course their beloved footy teams. Gregory, who was making his hat-trick appearance on the show, was slightly down beat after Tottenham started their season off with a defeat to Middlesbrough last week. But he revealed he was more annoyed with Bell's constant boasting about his 'man of the match' performance in Sky One's Premier League All Stars tournament last year! "I can't start a day without Geoffrey telling me that he was man of the match or man of the tournament," said Gregory. "He was the best thing since Pele and Maradona put together!" Despite being a Millwall fan, Bell played for the West Ham team which was made up of past heroes and celebrity fans and was indeed one of the players of the tournament - something that he wasn't in the slightest bit bashful about! "I didn't know how much they were all talking about me!" he said. "Rodney Marsh, all of them. I had Steve Claridge (come up to me) and I was like 'jog on Claridge,'! "Claridge had never spoken to me in my life and he wanted to give me tips! I was like 'go on, on your way!'"
