Soccerette Noughties!

We asked Chris and Rocket to pick the best Soccerettes from the last ten years and the boys didn't disappoint!

As we approach the end of the decade, we thought it was only right that we looked back at some of the Soccerettes that have helped us rise ever Saturday morning over the last ten years! Naturally this tough task isn't one for the faint hearted, and here on the website we quickly realised we needed to enlist some professional help... enter Chris and Rocket! Collectively the pair have spent over five years choosing the Soccerettes that eventually appear on your screens, so it's fair to say they know a thing or two about these lovely ladies! To help us illustrate their good points - and those of the Soccerettes - we've added some pictures... Enjoy!

Kelly Kelly

Age (on appearance): 21
Supports: WWE
Interesting fact: Her finishing move is called the Kelly Killer and it involves "putting the other girl's head under my legs and pounding her face again and again". Mama mia!
Chris & Rocket say: What can we say about this WWE diva? In the words of Kammy, "Unbelievable!" - even better in real life than on the telly! More than a few of the lads had to sit down when she walked into the studio back in April 2008. Looked good, sounded great and Rocket says she even smelt amazing!

Peta Todd

Age (on appearance): 21
Supports: West Ham
Interesting fact: The beautiful Page 3 girl had just come back from Afghanistan on her last appearance, where she was helping the Help For Heroes charity and naturally perked up our brave boys and girls.
Chris & Rocket say: The Page 3 model has been on the show twice in recent years for two obvious reasons... fit with great banter. The West Ham supporter has always had big things in front of her and we're sure she will for a few years yet!

Danielle Roffey

Age (on appearance): 24
Supports: Arsenal
Intersting fact: She believes's she's psychic!
Chris & Rocket say: If every Soccerette was like Danielle our lives would be a lot easier. She appeared on the show in December 2007 and was probably the most entertaining Soccerette we've ever had - ghosts helped her with her hair apparently... quality.

Lucy Pinder

Age (on appearance): 22
Supports: Southampton
Interesting fact: She earned a professional modelling contract with the Daily Star at just 18 after being spotted by a freelance photographer while sunbathing on Bournemouth beach!
Chris & Rocket say: Lucy was always going to make this list because not only is she a Southampton fan like Chris, she's also from the same town. It was a freezing December day when she was last on in 2005 but she was a real professional, offering advice and even gave us a couple of pointers.

Candice

Age (on appearance): 26
Supports: Charlton
Interesting fact: She might not be a celebrity, but Candice will forever be remembered for her appearance!
Chris & Rocket say: Probably the most famous Soccerette of all time for all the wrong reasons - the one Soccerette that showed us the whole thing. The Charlton fan came through the lockers way back in 2003 and will go down in Soccer AM folklore.
