Sky Sports News HQ's Orla Chennaoui reports on the security problems facing the Rio 2016 Olympics.

A private security firm hired for the tournament were sacked just one week ago, with local police taking over.

The expected 3,500 security personnel responsible for checking passes and putting attendees through scanners announced just days ago they had hired 500 staff, resulting in their sacking.

The local police have been called in to take their place, who themselves have been protesting over the last few weeks against the government due to not being paid. The police have been demonstrating at Rio airport with banners saying to tourists arriving in Rio 'Welcome to Hell'.

Also, there was a bomb scare at the Maracana Stadium on Sunday when an unidentified package was spotted.
