Team GB gymnast Ellie Downie has been named Sportswoman of the Month for April.
The 15-year-old from Nottingham made history last month after becoming the first British female to win an all-around medal at a major championship, after claiming bronze at the Euros in Montpellier.
The teenager, who is currently doing her GCSE exams, follows in the footsteps of sister Becky, who was named Sportswoman of the Month last May.
Ellie scooped 41 per cent of the votes cast by Sky Sports' SportsWomen viewers to edge ahead of Arsenal Ladies midfielder and PFA Women’s Young Player of the Year winner Leah Williamson, who polled 36 per cent.
Equestrian rider Charlotte Dujardin finished third after retaining her World Cup title in Las Vegas last month.
