Hertfordshire Mavericks kept the pressure on leaders Manchester Thunder with a 51-38 win over the Yorkshire Jets in the Vitality Netball Superleague.
The Mavericks pulled clear in the fourth quarter to complete a fourth victory of the season, joining Manchester on 12 points, while the Jets are still searching for their first win.
A promising start for the Jets saw them open a slender 13-10 lead after the first quarter, but the Mavericks had edged 23-22 ahead by half-time.
Samantha Wallace and Georgina Fisher then piled on more points for Hertfordshire as they opened a comfortable advantage in the following two quarters.
Mavericks' coach Sam Bird told the team's official website: "I am definitely pleased to have won four from four, giving us a good platform for the tougher matches to come next week.
"If we can produce our best play more frequently, we will be a force to be reckoned with."
Surrey Storm sit just behind Hertfordshire in third place after a comfortable 62-40 win over Celtic Dragons.
During a closely contested opening quarter, Surrey were forced to work for a 14-11 lead, but composed shooting from Rachel Dunn sent the Storm into the half-time break with a 27-22 cushion.
Pamela Cookey continued to play a leading role for the Storm as they closed out their third home win.
