Sky Sports Mix will show the Fast5 netball tournament this weekend as England head to Australia to compete in a rapid-fire version of the game sport.

Cricket have led the way with Twenty20 showing that a faster version of the game can generate new crowds and take the sport to a wider audience and Netball's Fast5 is not one to miss, branded as the most exciting version of the sport.

The tournament, featuring the top six nations in the netball world rankings, gets underway on Saturday and Sunday with the play-offs and final scheduled to be shown on Tuesday, also on Sky Sports Mix.

Melbourne's Hisense Arena is the venue for two days of fast-paced action which will include group games where all six teams play each other once, before the action moves on to the play-offs and the final.

The rules from the 7-a-side version are tweaked to include smaller teams, power plays, different scoring areas and a shorter time frame with games played over four six-minute quarters.

With just five players there is no wing defence or wing attack, and rather than just one point for a goal, points are awarded from the inner circle (1pt), outer circle (2pts) and goal third (3pts).

At the end of the round robin stage the top two teams will play in the gold medal match while third and fourth will meet for bronze and the bottom two teams compete for fifth place.
