England Roses lost the third, decisive Test against Jamaica in the Vitality International Series on Sunday night.
Jamaica streaked ahead in the final quarter to claim a 64-57 result at Coventry's Ricoh Arena to secure an overall 2-1 series win, having also won the first meeting in London before England levelled the score in Manchester.
The score was tied at 46-46 at the conclusion of the third quarter, after England's Eboni Beckford-Chambers proved a resilient goal-keeper and allowed her side to claw their way back into the match.
In the last 15 minutes, Jo Harten equalised after Jamaica took advantage of a turnover conceded by Serena Guthrie. Shamera Sterling re-established the away side's lead with two goals before Jamaica blockaded their own net to keep England at bay until the final whistle.
Earlier, England had led 15-14 after the first quarter but Jamaica's stand-out shooter Jhaniele Fowler-Reid then came to the fore, giving the visitors a 33-29 half-time advantage.
Jamaica's Shanice Beckford was named Player of the Match while her team-mate Fowler-Reid was their Player of the Series. Ama Agbeze was handed the prize for England's best performer.
