Lightning ran out 66-51 winners to cling onto the top spot after a fifth consecutive victory, after having to overturn Sirens' four-goal lead after the first quarter.
Wasps trail Lightning by three points after a 65-44 win against Severn Stars, briefly drawing level on points with Surrey Storm who have a game in-hand.
