Loughborough Lightning won the inaugural Fast5 Netball All Stars Netball Championship with a last-gasp win over Team Bath on Saturday.
Lightning scored a five-pointer in the last 20 seconds to win 35-33 in coach Karen Atkinson's last match.
The unique eight-team format includes shortened match times, three different scoring zones, unlimited roll-on-roll-off substitutions, and the opportunity to call a double point power play and, eventually, Loughborough came out on top.
Chelsea Lewis' early shooting gave Bath a 17-9 lead, but a Loughborough power play enabled them to overturn that score through Peace Proscovia's accuracy.
Kadeen Corbin earned 10 points with one goal during a Bath power play, regaining them the lead with four minutes left on the clock but Lewis missed an identical opportunity.
It was 30-30 with less than two minutes to go - Corbin scored three points for Bath but it wasn't enough.
