London Pulse have been added to the Netball Superleague for the 2019 season.

Natalie Seaton's side are the first central London-based club and will play home fixtures at the Copper Box Arena.

They replace Team Northumbria who will no longer be part of the 10-team competition.

England Netball CEO Joanna Adams said about London Pulse: "They submitted an excellent proposal and it's brilliant to have new investment into the league.

"All of their home fixtures will be played at the iconic Copper Box Arena and this is fantastic news for the London region, who will have even more live elite sport on their doorstep and it'll continue to help inspire and grow aspirations of netballers in the area.

"London Pulse have enjoyed considerable success in the Netball Performance League over the last few years and we can't wait to see lots of new talent on show."

The 2019 Vitality Netball Superleague will start in February 2019.
