Head coach Tracey Neville insists every member of her England squad has a crucial role to play as they prepare for Tuesday’s clash with Australia at the Netball World Cup.

England took top spot in Pool B after Sunday’s 85-34 win over Samoa, the team’s third straight victory, and will face the hosts in round two, live on Sky Sports.

Tournament favourites Australia were forced to settle for second place in Pool A after a surprise 52-47 defeat by New Zealand, setting up another showdown with England in Sydney.

A round-robin format will decide who progresses to the semi-finals and Neville plans to use all of her available players during a demanding schedule.

“It’s been really exciting to get everyone of our 12 out on court and I think I reiterated from the start that this competition is tough and everyone needs to contribute,” she told Sky Sports.

“That is something that the players are starting to get to grips with and I think we have developed a style which we can switch and change the combinations.

"We can put different players on and they can work to a strategy that the team want to work to. “
