Trainer Alan Hill described Victoria Pendleton's clear round on Supreme Danehill in the novice riders' race at Horseheath point-to-point in Cambridgeshire as a "good day at the office".

Supreme Danehill finished seventh after a good exhibition of jumping despite not being suited by the track conditions.

"The ground was a bit quick for him. She had a very good ride," said Hill.

"He's quite a one-paced horse and she had to ride him with a fair bit of strength and that was very much a great help today.

"He was running on well at the end and we are very pleased.

"It was another good day at the office. She's had another hard ride and got stuck in. Her ride was equal to anyone else who has ridden that horse.

"She got the horse jumping well. That's the best he's ever jumped. There were a lot of positives.

"We are now getting plenty of rides into her and that's the aim. We want to get more experience and race time on the track."

The dual Olympic gold medal-winning cyclist will be back in action on According To Sarah at Larkhill at Wiltshire on Sunday.

Her next experience under her Rules is set to be on Pacha Du Polder in a hunter chase at Wincanton on Wednesday.

She was unseated from the Paul Nicholls-trained nine-year-old on her much-anticipated hunter chase debut at Fakenham earlier this month, but still hopes to ride the horse in the St James's Place Foxhunter Chase at Cheltenham next month.
