Miss France second on comeback at Longchamp

Last year's 1000 Guineas victor Miss France had to settle for second on her belated seasonal return at Longchamp.

Andre Fabre's charge had been off the track since finishing second in the Sun Chariot Stakes at Newmarket last October, with a reported splint problem delaying her return.

Back to fitness now, Miss France was partnered for the first time by Frankie Dettori in the Prix de la Cochere and after showing some late pace, the four-year-old had to settle for second behind Sonnerie.
