Time Test appears likely to continue his career in America.

The four-year-old has not been seen since winning a Group Two at York but has suffered training problems and missed his end-of-season targets.

Trainer Roger Charlton said: "He's back with Juddmonte in Newmarket now, having a holiday, and the vibes I'm getting are that he's going to need a bit of time and that he will probably race next in America, not immediately in the Breeders' Cup or anything, something after that.

"I think sadly it's unlikely I'll be training him again."

When asked if he thought Time Test would benefit from the use of Lasix he told At The Races: "I have a policy of not using Lasix but that's nothing to do with me if he's trained in America by someone else.

"He's been a very good horse and I'm just annoyed I didn't win a Group One with him, his performance at York was pretty good when he beat the subsequent Arlington Million (Mondialiste) winner pretty easily."
