Solar Deity finished down the field in the inaugural Keeneland Korea Cup in Seoul.
The seven-year-old was partnered by Darryll Holland as they finished behind Japanese-trained winner Chrysolite in the nine-furlong event which was worth over £320,000 to the winner.
Trainer Jane Chapple-Hyam tweeted: "Ninth - jumped last (and) couldn't handle deep surface but thanks for the invite."
