Frankie Dettori will take part in two public gallops on Newmarket's Rowley Mile Racecourse on Saturday morning.
He will get the leg up on the South African champion racemare, Smart Call, at 7.45am, and then will be on board the crack American juvenile filly, Lady Aurelia, at 8.15am.Trained by Alec Laird, Smart Call is unraced since thrashing many of the best South African horses (of either sex) by three and a half lengths in the Grade One J & B Met at Kenilworth in Cape Town back in January.
She is expected to make her European debut in the Group One Kingdom of Bahrain Sun Chariot Stakes on the Rowley Mile on Saturday, 1st October.
Trained by Wesley Ward, Lady Aurelia shot to fame with a seven-length demolition of the Queen Mary Stakes field at Royal Ascot in June.
After returning to America, she came back to Europe to land the Group One Prix Morny in France last month and has since been stabled in Newmarket as she prepares for Saturday 24th September's Group One Connolly's Red Mills Cheveley Park Stakes.
