Richard Fahey retains faith in Queen Kindly after Cheveley Park Stakes

Richard Fahey admits to being baffled by Queen Kindly's under-par display in the Connolly's Red Mills Cheveley Park Stakes at Newmarket.
The Malton handler is hoping the Lowther Stakes winner simply had an off-day when finishing a well-beaten fourth, beaten six lengths by the 25/1 winner Brave Anna, in the Group One over six furlongs.
The daughter of Frankel had only been half a length adrift of the same filly in the Albany Stakes at Royal Ascot and she had beaten Cheveley Park runner-up Roly Poly in the Group Two at York last month.
Fahey said: "She seems fine - she's eaten up and she's trotted up well.
"There are no problems with her at all. For whatever reason, she didn't fire.
"It looks like she might just have had an off-day - I'm hoping so, but I haven't given up faith in her.
"She'll be finished for the year now and we'll just play it by ear."
Queen Kindly is 20/1 with Sky Bet for next season's Qipco 1000 Guineas.
