Dandy Nicholls leads towards Ascot with Kimberella

Dandy Nicholls is favouring Ascot over Redcar this weekend for bang-in-form sprinter Kimberella.
The six-year-old went up to a career-high mark of 109 after breaking the track record at Ripon on Saturday, just a week after finishing fifth in the Ayr Gold Cup.
He holds an entry in the Listed totescoop6 EBF Stallions Guisborough Stakes at Redcar on Saturday, but Nicholls is leaning towards the Ascot And Camra 10th Anniversary Rous Stakes on the same afternoon.
"He's been unbelievable this season," said Thirsk-based Nicholls.
"On Saturday you could have called him the winner a long way out and to do that off top weight takes some doing.
"He's just on a roll. Some horses deteriorate as fast as they can improve and while he wasn't really deteriorating last year he'd barely have got a run in some of the races he's been winning this season.
"I don't know why they do it but he's on a roll. It's confidence with him, I think.
"He hasn't changed at all. He looks the same, works the same and eats the same, but he's taken his form to a new level.
"He'll run somewhere this weekend given the form he's in, and he'll probably go to Ascot."
