Options open for Persuasive after missing Sun Chariot at Newmarket

Connections of Persuasive have yet to decide whether she will run again this season after electing to bypass Saturday's Sun Chariot Stakes at Newmarket.
Unbeaten in her first five starts, the John Gosden-trained filly was last seen beating all bar Alice Springs on her Group One debut in the Matron Stakes at Leopardstown.
A potential rematch with Aidan O'Brien's charge looked to be on the cards on the Rowley Mile this weekend, but Persuasive was not declared due to unsuitable ground.
Chris Richardson, managing director for owners Cheveley Park Stud, said: "The filly is fine in herself. John Gosden just felt the ground there is quite firm at the moment and while there is some rain forecast, there is not much until Saturday.
"Because of that we've decided to bypass it and she's very much a filly we're looking forward to for next year.
"She could still run again this season. We'll look at the options and decide.
"There might be a race for her at the next Newmarket meeting, but I'm not sure."
