Trainer David Simcock has set Algometer the challenge of winning the Group One Grosser Preis von Bayern at Munich racecourse on November 1.
Runner-up to Midterm on his seasonal reappearance at Sandown, the grey went one better in the Cocked Hat Stakes at Goodwood to earn a trip to Epsom.
While he was unable to make an impact in Classic company, Algometer made a successful return from a mid-season break when beating subsequent Canadian International runner-up Dartmouth in last month's Dubai Duty Free Legacy Cup at Newbury.
Simcock said: "Algometer is in good order and we are looking forward to running him in Germany.
"Dartmouth ran very well in Canada and I thought Midterm ran well in France.
"We keep on top of him as he is quite an expressive horse.
"He had quite a long gap between the Derby and the Arc trial, so there are no problems fitness-wise."
