Gary Moore prepares Sire De Grugy for Tingle Creek Chase at Sandown

Sire De Grugy will attempt to win the Tingle Creek Chase at Sandown for a third time over his optimum trip of two miles following a failed tilt over further.
Trainer Gary Moore reports his stable star in fine shape after finding the two and a half miles of Aintree's Old Roan Handicap Chase a step too far on his seasonal debut.
He expects the real Sire Dr Grugy to turn up at the Esher course on December 3 for a race he won in 2013 and last year.
"He needed the run, but he didn't get two and a half so he won't be going down that route and will go straight to the Tingle Creek," said Moore.
"He is all good. He looks fantastic."
Sire De Grugy could be joined at Sandown by stablemate Ar Mad, but Moore revealed the race will come too soon for Traffic Fluide.
"Ar Mad will also be going that way if he stays in one piece, while Traffic Fluide just needs a bit more time," said the West Sussex handler.
